Terms of use

These terms are an agreement between you and ForeGrow Programming Solutions LLP, India (“we”, “us”), for using the KiddoLock app and website. By installing or using KiddoLock you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use KiddoLock.

1. Who can use KiddoLock

KiddoLock is for parents and guardians aged 18 or over, to manage apps on a phone they own or are responsible for. You must not use KiddoLock to monitor or restrict an adult without their consent.

2. What KiddoLock does, and doesn’t

KiddoLock helps you keep chosen apps locked and give time-limited access. It is a tool to support your parenting, not a replacement for supervision. Android, phone makers and app updates can change how phones behave, and a determined person may find ways around any app lock (for example factory reset, safe mode or developer tools). We work hard to make KiddoLock reliable but can’t guarantee it will block every app, at every moment, on every phone.

3. Your responsibilities

• Keep a screen lock, fingerprint or face set up on the phone. KiddoLock relies on it to confirm a parent.
• Grant the permissions KiddoLock needs, and follow its setup steps for your phone brand.
• Keep your phone’s software and KiddoLock up to date.
• Don’t use KiddoLock for anything unlawful, or try to copy, reverse engineer, modify or resell it, except as allowed by law.

4. Free and Premium

KiddoLock has a free plan (one locked app) and a paid Premium subscription. Features, prices and limits are shown in the app and may change; changes won’t affect a period you’ve already paid for.

5. Subscriptions and billing

• Premium is sold through Google Play and charged to your Google account, in the price shown at purchase (including applicable taxes).
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period (monthly or yearly) unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
• Cancel any time in Google Play › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions › KiddoLock. You keep Premium until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
• Uninstalling KiddoLock does not cancel your subscription.
• Introductory or welcome offers apply only as described when shown, and only once per Google account.
• Refunds are covered by our refund policy and Google Play’s policies.
• Your subscription belongs to your Google account. Use “Restore purchases” in the app after reinstalling or on a new phone signed in to the same account.

6. Our content

KiddoLock’s app, design, mascot characters, artwork, text and logo belong to ForeGrow Programming Solutions LLP. We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on your devices while you follow these terms. Other app names and icons shown in KiddoLock belong to their owners and are shown only so you can choose which apps to lock.

7. Privacy

How KiddoLock handles information is explained in our privacy policy. In short: no accounts, and your family’s data stays on your phone.

8. Disclaimers

KiddoLock is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we don’t give warranties that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for every purpose.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for content, purchases or activity in other apps. Our total liability for any claim relating to KiddoLock is limited to the amount you paid for KiddoLock in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that can’t be limited.

10. Ending use

You can stop using KiddoLock at any time by cancelling any subscription and uninstalling it. We may suspend access if these terms are seriously breached.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. We’ll change the date above, and tell you in the app about important changes. Continuing to use KiddoLock after that means you accept the new terms.

12. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts having jurisdiction over the registered office of ForeGrow Programming Solutions LLP have jurisdiction, without affecting your rights to use consumer forums.
